Is there any reason for a Single Store to install the Multi Store App?

It depends. If you'd like to obtain a sales report by product or device, you can install Multi Store app to download these reports.

By installing the Multi Store app, you will be able to view various reports on Clover station with Stock Reporting app.

If you have already installed Stock app and have only one store location, then there is no need to install Multi Store app.
